ok so about the font... I had an interview at a school i applied to last week, and one of the interviewers said it would be cool if i tried hand-lettering my comics instead. So i'm gonna try that for a while, and if everybody hates it i'm gonna go back to the font i used before (even though i think it's ugly as hell lol)

Other than that, look i almost did backgrounds for ALL the panels, i hope you're proud of me.
ok and one more thing, Z doesn't like people using his name unless he trusts them, and i know he might
seem very beat up about it "just because" he doesn't trust them and they know, but it's really really important to him that his name doesn't get out in the public because he doesn't want everybody to know who he is.
so that's why. yep.

have a nice day!

It's an interesting name, I suppose.

I find some of the hand written dialogues in certain comics to be beautiful. The authors are able to switch the lettering well to reflect emotions and a sense of accent. If I could do so, I would too, but my handwriting is that of a 2nd grader thanks to the early introduction of a computer.

Oh, and good luck on your transition to the world of higher education. It's typically much easier than what your high school teachers probably led you to believe.

I think hand lettering works really well in yoir style! It's very natural and suits yoir natural line work :)) also I love the interactions between z and Calvin hahaha XD this page has spiffingly adorable dialogue :'D can't wait for more!! ;n;

Was the person who told you to hand-letter your comics over 30 years old? Of course not everyone is like that but I notice older people often have this strange aversion to anything done digitally. Your hand-lettering is readable and it's possible to make hand-lettering look great but if you have a good font and using it makes you produce pages faster why not do that? To each their own and everything of course but I feel that many people are fans of hand-lettering just out of some weird elitist reasons.
